You said what you wrote was your prayer. In Bible terms I would call it a lament. That’s a form of praying and It died up a lot in Psalms and other books. Also the book of Lamentations. 🧡
Yes. I sort of thought of what you wrote as lamenting Uncle Jerry's changes. A biblical example is the book of Lamentations in which the prophet Jeremiah laments that the people of Israel are far from the Lord by their own choice. He begins the book, "How deserted lies the city, once so full of people!"

Oooh I didn't know that. For some reason, "lament" has a sad connotation to me. Is it that way in the bible?
